Like I covered in my past post about him, he produces, writes, and records all of his music on his own. He has a very modern, revolutionary sound that blends hip hop, pop, and r&b styles among others into a somehow brand new genre, all the while being very transparent and vulnerable lyrically. I’ve been a huge fan of Jon since his Translations Through Speakers EP, and his growth since then has been incredible. Including pre-released tracks Munny Right, the intro to the album, Simple and Sweet, and Luxury, the last track, this proves to be Bellion’s most complete and intricate project to date. Jon Bellion, the 23 year old New York City native, who I’ve covered as an “Artist You Should Watch”, just dropped his third free album this Tuesday, “The Definition”.
